Pim de Morree is an entrepreneur on a mission to reimagine how work works. He co-founded Corporate Rebels to expose the limits of traditional hierarchy, bureaucracy, and outdated leadership, and to show what’s possible when organizations are built around purpose, autonomy, and trust.

With degrees in Industrial Engineering & Management Science and Innovation Management from Eindhoven University of Technology, Pim abandoned a frustrating corporate path in 2016 and set off to travel the world, researching pioneering organizations.

Alongside writing, speaking, and working globally with Corporate Rebels, he co-founded Krisos, an award-winning impact fund that acquires traditional businesses and transforms them into steward-owned, self-managed forces for good. Krisos is rewriting the private equity playbook, prioritizing long-term impact, equity, and meaningful work.

Pim’s work is built not on theory, but real transformations: companies where managers are replaced by elected representatives; full salary transparency; profit sharing for all; decision-making devolved to teams; hierarchical layers flattened; and workplaces reshaped to be more humane, more equal, more alive.

His awards include Thinkers50’s Radar Award, the Tony Hsieh Award, recognition among the Top-30 Emergent Management Thinkers, and growing influence in the global movement to end uninspiring, dehumanizing workplaces.

The SO:22 is a conference for people and organizations that are working with or are interested in steward-ownership and all its facets. Register here if you would like to participate digitally and watch selected formats and keynotes via livestream on September 5 & 6!
