Siân Edwards has been the Executive Director of Andrews Charitable Trust (ACT) for nearly two decades, but has had a career-long passion to address and support social justice entrepreneurs.  Since taking up the helm at ACT, she has led the charity through significant structural, governance and strategic change.  This has included mergers with two sister charities, managing a series of strategic changes in how we operate and leading a generational shift in the relationship with our corporate, Andrews Property Group.  It will be the 80thbirthday of Andrews in 2026 and we will be celebrating by launching, for the first time ever, a shared vision and set of values.  Siân has long seen the potential of the governance model that was set up by the founder before he died in 1979, but has driven changes in the group and in the charity that have the potential to super-charge the positive impact that we can have through better aligned market and not-for-profit services.

Prior to joining ACT, Siân worked in programme development and management for social development projects in Africa and Asia.  In her early career, she worked in public relations, including running the press office for SportAid, the international fundraising campaign.
