Robert Habeck is Vice Chancellor, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection and directly elected member of the Bundestag for constituency 1 Flensburg-Schleswig. From 2018-2022 he was Federal Chairman of BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN. Before that, he was Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of Schleswig-Holstein for six years, most recently heading the Ministry for Energy Transition, Environment, Agriculture and Digitization. Robert Habeck’s home is high up in the north, between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, where the horizon is far and the people are down to earth. This is exactly how he does politics: through reflection and dialogue, an idea of a better reality emerges, and then we start solving problems and doing something.
