Christian Kroll is the founder, managing director and steward-owner of the search engine Ecosia, Google’s most sustainable competitor. Ecosia uses all profits to plant trees where they are most needed. To date, over 100,000,000 trees have been planted worldwide. In 2018, Ecosia became a self-owned company with the help of the Purpose Foundation.
