Maike Kauffmann joined both PURPOSE and the Stiftung Verantwortungseigentum (Foundation for Steward-Ownership) in 2019. In the Purpose Foundation, she has since then been responsible for Purpose’s research and think tank work. Since the end of 2021, she is also co-responsible for the non-profit-activities of the Purpose Foundation. The foundation helps to make the concept of steward-ownership better known and easier to implement. For the Foundation for Steward-Ownership, Maike coordinates the foundation’s think tank and research work and supports the activities for introducing a new legal form for steward-owned companies. With a background in business and Ecological Economics, Maike is particularly interested in the role of companies in our economy and society and in finding ways to leverage the positive power of entrepreneurship to solve societal problems. Before she joined PURPOSE and the Foundation for Steward-Ownership, she experienced working in another steward-owned company as well as in a state-owned organization and a publicly listed company.

The SO:22 is a conference for people and organizations that are working with or are interested in steward-ownership and all its facets. Register here if you would like to participate digitally and watch selected formats and keynotes via livestream on September 5 & 6!
