Bart van der Zande is the co-founder and director of Fresh Ventures a venture builder studio based in Rotterdam on a mission to transform the food system. Building multiple new, mission driven ventures, from scratch every year with Steward Ownership as a key theme. As both a ‘co-founder’ and a very early investor getting involved in multiple deals, they are learning a lot on the implementation of steward ownership in the earliest stage. They are currently working on a funding vehicle / fund that can invest in this earliest stage in a way that incentives steward ownership across the funding lifetime.
