Carl-Philipp Sassenrath is a Member of the German Bundestag for the CDU, representing the constituency of Neuss, Dormagen, Grevenbroich, and Rommerskirchen. In parliament, he serves on the Committee on Transport and the Committee on Legal Affairs and Consumer Protection, and is also active in additional bodies focusing on European policy, development, and budgetary matters. Before being elected to the Bundestag, he worked as a lawyer in several federal ministries, including the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs, where he focused on artificial intelligence and innovation. From 2022 to 2025, he served as a policy advisor on economy, energy, and climate for the CDU/CSU parliamentary group.
