After completing her first law degree and working in various business law firms, Carla Reuter still saw her question about a more just economy far from answered. That’s why she decided to pursue further studies: “economics and social transformation” which examines economics as a social practice from a cultural-historical, philosophical and social-scientific perspective. At the Stiftung Verantwortungseigentum (Foundation for Steward-Ownership), Carla Reuter advances the law on a new form for steward-owned companies. Together with Nancy Frehse, Carla Reuter has also already founded a company in steward-ownership herself, the slow fashion label Oktopulli and knows about the benefits and challenges that go along with such an ownership structure.

The SO:22 is a conference for people and organizations that are working with or are interested in steward-ownership and all its facets. Register here if you would like to participate digitally and watch selected formats and keynotes via livestream on September 5 & 6!
